BE YELLOW launches ‘Digital Marketing That Does Good’ campaign with Media Trust
Pledges 5% of Profits to Media Trust to Support Youth Career Development

BE YELLOW is proud to celebrate its first anniversary by announcing an impactful new charity partnership ‘Digital Marketing That Does Good’ with Media Trust. This partnership aligns with BE YELLOW's commitment to supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in shaping their careers.

Media Trust believes that it’s by giving everyone a voice, that we’ll get to a more equal society. With the help of their media and creative industry partners and volunteers from across the industry, they work with charities to strengthen their media and digital skills training. At the same time, Media Trust’s programmes give diverse talent the creative media skills, access and mentoring support they need to break into the media.

As part of this partnership, BE YELLOW will pledge 5% of its annual net profit to Media Trust. These funds will help the charity provide more diverse entry-level and early-stage creative talent with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed in their careers. Additionally, BE YELLOW will offer a month-long paid internship to a Media Trust programme alumnus, providing them with hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of PR & marketing.

“We are thrilled to celebrate our first anniversary by partnering with Media Trust,” said Marcus, co-founder of BE YELLOW. “Their dedication to supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds aligns perfectly with our values, and we are excited to contribute to their mission both financially and through direct involvement.”

Hayley, co-founder of BE YELLOW, added, “Our commitment goes beyond financial contributions. By providing internships and participating in mentoring, we hope to make a tangible difference in the lives of these young individuals, helping to shape the next generation of leaders in digital marketing.”

Su-Mei Thompson, Media Trust CEO, said: “Media Trust can only do the work we do because of our brilliant industry partners. We’re very excited about working with BE YELLOW and Marcus and Hayley on this new initiative. Their passion and commitment to widening access and participation are very aligned with Media Trust’s own mission and vision, and we can’t wait to get started on working together to build the pipeline of diverse talent for the digital marketing sector.

Free Educational Webinars

The partnership also aims over time to launch a series of free webinars, targeted at young professionals and entrepreneurs. These webinars will cover essential skills including content creation, digital advertising, public relations, branding and the use of AI tools, which they can apply to their career development.
